Update from Krystal Gonzalez

First of all I would like to thank the Petrone Foundation for giving
me the wonderful chance to go to Kennedy-Kenrick. It is a great school and I
truly enjoy going there. They have wonderful academics and staff and lots of
sports and activities.

I signed up to take a course in Band and now I play the clarinet. After
private lessons with a woodwind teacher and regular band classes I joined the
Kennedy-Kenrick Jazz Band, that plays for school functions and activities. I
hope to continue with this activity for the rest of my years at Kenrick. At
Kenrick I am discovering my talent for writing, with writing articles for our
school newspaper and poems and short stories for our literary magazine.

Next year will be my sophomore year and I am very excited about it. I
can't wait to experience new things, plan my future and make new friends. I
hope to set an example for the new kids comming next year and help them
along. I hope they enjoy Kennedy-Kennedy as much I am now.

Hey Mr. Botzum,
         This is Gabrielle Bellita and I am emailng you about ME!  Here is some information about what i have done during my freshman year at kennedy kenrick and other activities i'm involved in:

         Throughout my Freshman year, i have participated in Chorus, Cantoring, Drama (The two shows this year for drama were, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Guys and Dolls) and Dinner Theater (As part of the dinner theater, we traveled to Disney World and performed in Tomorrowland).  I haven't done any sports this year, for kenrick, but i hope to try out for some next year. 

         Outside of KKCHS, I also performed with the Norristown Chorale Christmas Concert at Norristown High School.  I've been asked to sing our National Anthem at various events (opening of East Norriton baseball season, The Triangle  Club, Senator Holl's retirment, etc.)  On June 1st, i will be singing at Asbury Church and on June 8th i will be singing at the bandshell at Elmwood Park.  Every Sunday, I cantor for my parish which is Holy Saviour Church.

         Besides participating in school activities, i'm also involved in swimming, dance, piano, and voice lessons.  And for fun, I enjoy being a normal kid.  I hang out with my best friends Ashley and Taylor on weekends, watch t.v., listen to music, and enjoy eating!
